We thank Thee O Lord from keeping us from the devil's clutches!
For giving us warm bodied family and friends, help stay out of the ditches.
For friends that remind us to chuckle with glee, as we get into this or other mischief.
For memories of loved ones gone past, memories that have us having to sniffle into a handkerchief.
Seriously, it's been pointed out to me that I can really whine on and on.
A friend just told me sweetheart you have no idea the kinds of lives people are made to live.
Forgotten by a system that couldnt care less for their problems.
So what have I learned about myself and life today?
- That it's precious, an entrustment from the very Gods who command us to be their emissaries on this noble plane of existence.
- That work truly is worship, whether as a Chief Heart Officer or a flower vendor.
- That your never too broken down to pick up the pieces and fight for your dreams once again. All it takes is a whisper of encouragement from a loved one.
- That we're given a daily test to live up to our highest right and win our every dream.
