Imran's Thoughts (Jul 2023)

When I say website for your community project, I don't mean something a "programmer" or "graphic designer" would do.

I think of myself more as an architect, ideator, writer, team builder and perhaps administrative process designer and builder/purveyor of information systems.

I mean something you can live and breathe with throught its say 20 years to flower to its full potential, right from:

promoting the land, to listing the architects on hand to showcasing suggested building options and materials etc

Community guidelines at every stage and aspec5. Designing special spaces to the township planners and specific individuals needs and sensibilities.

Offering a unique experience to the visitor, creating a sustainable economy, self reliance, whether we want to be like community living, shared kitchen, Off grid, eco friendly, any industry complexes, shops, supplies from outside, farming activity,

Demographics, who are we inviting from what ethnic backgrounds, what profession, do we need a charter, meditation hall, modalities of healing and medicine, ambulance, fire, workshops, roads, fenced or open plots...

I mean the list could go on...

How many plots, what is the town plan looking like, how much is sold, what about labourers, domestic help, vegetable vendors, nearby farms, meat, places of worship, tourism to us and what's nearby.

Who has already bought, who are we inviting, where are we looking, how many houses already occupied, are there monthly virtual town halleetngs.

Why is the community being formed, is it like say a social experiment lilk N auroville. What sort of behaviour is tolerable, who arbitrate in case of a dispute, what is its law book, or does only government law apply. What police, tahsildar, court is nearby, which party is ruling in that area, what are the people like

How many schools service that area, what kind of education systems, are wr planning any community outreach programs, any charities operate in that area, how many we intend to start.

If people living there need jobs what companies and industries nearby.

What is the drugs and drinking policy, what to do with troublemakers, anyone age homes planned or dormitories.

Economy model, catering services or hotels, water sources and sanitation, parks, what is the tallest building, telecommunications, Internet, warehouses, lorries and buses in campus? Within our town limits Do we encourage cycling, autos, tractors and farm equipment.

Karan's Thoughts

Let me share the limitations of self sustainable living.

All places are doing everything ignoring three parts.

The internet culture is providing a short term idea missing:

  1. Midwifery centre for birth.
  2. Trade commerce and currency.
  3. Rule of The land.

Most people want to make resort for themselves and business around it to sustain..

By 2030 there will be no real treatment available in the system.
